Maekin has worked in the horticulture industry for fifteen years in wholesale greenhouses, container farms, and landscaping environments. They've completed over eighty credits of graduate and undergraduate-level horticulture courses in design, plant science, medicinal medicine, green building techniques, and human health. They hold a bachelor's degree in Anthropology and a graduate certificate in Urban Agriculture from Colorado State University. Current projects include working with The Park People to increase tree canopy and water conservation in Denver's Southwest communities.
Danielle (Draco) is a passionate, purpose-driven community advocate who has completed 200+ hours of intensive ISA-based urban forestry arboriculture training in tree identification, biology, and common tree health problems in Denver. She works with The Park People as a Community Connector and Climate Ambassador for the Barnum neighborhood towards growing a sustainable and community-supported urban tree canopy. She is an Urban Forestry committee member and Lowell Street Community Garden Leader.
After fifteen years in the field, I started an independent business in 2022 with a desire to do work that brought me happiness. Working directly with clients to build enjoyable outdoor spaces is my passion. We're a small business that wants to do both the big jobs and little touches that make your gardens a happy place.
