About Maekin Gardens

• Seasonal garden maintenance including shrub pruning, tree trimming, perennial care, weed removal, and major bed clean up. 
• Landscape design and installation using native plant knowledge
• Hardscaping including raised beds, fences, patios and walkway construction using flagstone, brick or wood
• Rain gardens and other water conservation techniques

Maekin has worked in the horticulture industry for fifteen years in wholesale greenhouses, container farms, and landscaping environments. They've completed over sixty hours of graduate and undergraduate-level horticulture courses in design, plant science, medicinal medicine, green building techniques, and human health.  They specialize in flagstone construction, pollinator gardens, and shrub care. 

After fifteen years in the field, I started an independent business in 2022 with a desire to do work that brought me happiness. Working directly with clients to build enjoyable outdoor spaces is my passion. We're a small business that wants to do both the big jobs and little touches that make your gardens a happy place.
